The House of Āio

Āio Creative Consultancy.

This is where the strategy, design, and communications converge. I build messaging systems, brand tools, story frameworks, and full comms ecosystems — and I do it with structure and care.

I’ve voiced campaigns, written messaging, built brand narratives, and designed longform publications for iwi, community and national kaupapa. I move between creative and practical thinking easily, and I bring depth and calm to fast-moving, high-impact work.

Beyond this, and if you’re a start-up, new business, someone with a cool product trying to get it off the ground, I can help build out the baseline—logo, brand identity, marketing, website, and content. Whether you need these created from scratch or want support in shaping and refining your ideas, I offer both hands-on design and strategic advisory.

Voice Work & Sound.

My work with voice began over 20 years ago in iwi radio, and it’s grown from there. I’ve worked across bilingual narration, campaign voiceovers, kaupapa-based storytelling, and longform audio — always with the intention to carry the kaupapa clearly, calmly, and with care.

I’ve voiced projects for Moana FM, Āti Awa Toa FM, Arawa FM, Bridge FM, The Heat FM, and Maniapoto FM, and have lent my voice to campaigns and content across iwi, community, and national kaupapa. Some of that work includes Our Place (Whakatāne District), Ngā Puaroa Horonuku (Tūhoe), Karanga (Waka Hourua), and the BBC’s Mataatua – The House That Came Home.

I’m also the voice of Mātauranga Māori, the latest publication by Sir Hirini Moko Mead — a privilege I don’t take lightly.

Right now, I’m designing the full soundscape for Tangihanga, a theatrical work by Krystal Neho. It’s deep, layered work — combining karanga, original vocal composition, and atmospheric elements — and is being developed for both live performance and film.

I approach voice work with intent and care. I understand the tone, timing, and responsibility that comes with carrying kaupapa through sound. My focus is on delivering work that feels aligned — grounded, clean, and connected to what it’s meant to hold.

Solari.

This is the branch of Āio Studio that holds everything I’ve created from the inside out. It’s where my lifelong spiritual journey meets language, sound, and form and finally becomes tangible, applicable tools for you.

Solari offers support for the inner work and here you’ll find:

  • Sound-based tools for reflection, emotional processing and transformation

  • Healing Journals designed to identify, unravel and integrate

  • Frequency-based resources specific to challenges and trauma afflicting humanity today

  • Guidance and affirmation cards for the Spirit

  • Books, writings and breakthrough themes

  • Tools for those walking through loss, identity shifts, spiritual awakening, healing and soul remembering

Solari is about taking all the parts of me that have learned and experienced something, grown through challenges and all the life stuff we both suffer and survive. Solari is the refinement of tools I have brought back from these moments. Solari is my spirituality in form. Each offering is created from my own walk through spiritual shedding, breakthrough, remembering, and return. Nothing is made to impress. It’s made to support the part of you that needs it.

At the centre of everything I create — every tool, every sound, every line — is one purpose: to bring people back to the I Am. Not as a concept, but as a knowing. The awareness that is separate to the identity. The presence of Christ Consciousness — the source that heals trauma, dissolves illusion, and restores truth.

Āio Wellbeing.

Āio Wellbeing is where my personal practice lives — the one that’s been built across a lifetime of spiritual experience, in pursuit of healing for humanity. I support people to reconnect with themselves through presence, awareness, and straight-up conversation. Sometimes that happens through mirimiri, energy work, or intuitive insight. Sometimes it happens through stillness and space.

The work adapts to what’s real in the moment. No two sessions are the same, because no two people are. What matters is that we work with what’s underneath — clearly, honestly, and without trying to bypass the hard stuff.

This space isn’t about performance or pretending. It’s for people who are ready to stop outsourcing their truth and start returning to their own centre — slowly, clearly, and with support that doesn’t get in the way.

Āio Wellbeing includes:

  • One-on-one sessions, wānanga, and direct support

  • Body-based work including mirimiri and energy realignment

  • A safe space to reflect, share and work through

  • Tools to build clarity, personal rhythm, and forward movement

  • Sound and frequency work for healing

  • Group offerings, public talks, and collaborative kaupapa

  • Mindset & life coaching
